This watch wasn’t our idea, it was yours.
Our first watch in steel and our first hand-wound movement. At 38mm, our smallest yet. What started as a challenge to create a Biver in steel turned into a real-life odyssey that tested our skill as watchmakers and our love of horology (and one another). Many a sleepless night later, one of the toughest challenge became one of the easiest to wear.
We started with a blank sheet and a date in the diary. What came out the other side is our first hand-wound calibre, running 120 hours on a few turns of the crown.
Steel shows every flaw, so we couldn’t afford a single one. Every surface is finished by hand, and your piece is built start to finish by one watchmaker.
Behind the AB is a small team: watchmakers in Givrins, engineers in our Bureau Technique, and our partners at Le Cercle des Horlogers. Made with a lot of determination, coffee strong enough to strip a dial and a team that would not.let.go until it was right.
