This is Biver

You will wear this watch through the best and worst of it. We built it for both. Every dial, index, every hand decorated surface you might never see is wrestled with, debated and remade. It starts in Givrins, Switzerland but when the watch leaves our makers, that’s where it really begins.

Our story

In 2023, Jean-Claude – “the godfather of watches” – and his son Pierre started a brand together after a bike accident that nearly killed him. A father who almost didn’t make it, a family name with everything to prove, and an obsession with creating perfection itself. What could go wrong, right?

Our atelier

This is the place where it all happens. A three-story, 1800s Swiss farmhouse, in a village between Lake Geneva and the Vallée de Joux where our master watchmakers and decorators work and our watches are created. Where you’ll hear the kind of silence that only happens when a team wants to make something magnificent. We hope you’ll come see it one day.

Our watch

We build the watches we want to see in the world. The ones you wear every day, not lock away in a box. Every hand-polished surface, every decision fought over in that atelier – built to outlive all of us. As François, our technical director, puts it: “In one hundred years… no oxidation, no degradation, no compromise.”
