The bright white hard-fired enamel dial presents a beautiful, mirror-like finish punctuated by the applied white gold markers, which add another dimension to the clean, clear display. Each dial is crafted by Les Émailleurs de la Cité in Geneva and requires more than 10 hours of enameling and six hours of polishing to achieve its flawless surface. It is a case study in simplicity achieved through complexity.

Calibre JCB-003 is a brand new movement designed from the ground up specifically for the Automatique, with micro-rotor and hand winding, a zero-reset mechanism, and new styles of decoration. It was engineered to be able to drive additional complications in the future and was developed in partnership with Dubois Depraz.

An exclusive edition created for the Japanese market, this watch’s monochromatic look is equally inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics and classical Swiss watchmaking techniques, bringing together two cultures across time and space, resulting in something that is far greater than the sum of its parts.
