The Automatique is Maison Biver’s artistic take on a traditional three-hand wrist watch, evolving the brand’s distinctive aesthetic style and building for the future with an entirely new hand-decorated, self-winding calibre.

The two-tone effect is achieved through contrasting finishing of the 18k white gold dial plate and is inspired by some of our favorite vintage watches. The applied 18k gold chemin de fer adds visual depth with its engraved markings and the anthracite markers and hands add contrast, making it easy to read the time at a glance.

Calibre JCB-003 is a brand new movement designed from the ground up specifically for the Automatique, with micro-rotor and hand winding, a zero-reset mechanism, and new styles of decoration. It was engineered to be able to drive additional complications in the future and was developed in partnership with Dubois Depraz.

A combination of classical and contemporary design elements come together to further develop Maison Biver’s neoclassical house style, which charts a unique vision for the future of fine watchmaking in the 21st century.

The level of complexity and craftsmanship is every bit as rigorous as with any of our timepieces. The five-row bracelet is composed of links, each hand-decorated by a craftsman, offering an extraordinary play of light and shadows.
