On a starry night, with the moon above the horizon, a wave of Sapphires sweeps over the hands and markers to reveal a new order. Catharsis is unique in that it tells the time without having to look at the dial, making it a true work of art composed of four different stones.

The sky of this dial is made of silvered Obsidian speckled with Opal stars. The sea, composed of a multitude of Sapphires hand-set one by one by an artisan, reveals a moon made of Meteorite stone.

Thanks to the total absence of hands, the dial is freed from all constraints and can express itself fully with a singular motif formed of 89 different Sapphires, set invisibly. This technique visualizes the movement of waves.

This timepiece is driven by a micro-rotor and incorporates a three-hammer striking mechanism, traditionally known as a carillon (Cercle des Horlogers Development). The only hand of this creation, the hour hand, is visible on the back of the watch and is used to set the striking mechanism.
